Rodeos are exciting to go to. But I always felt they were a bit drab in color. Something so exciting and fun should be viewed in so much more color and light. One of the best ways to do this is to have reflective surfaces. In this painting the arena is very wet from a recent rain. So that combined with colorful lights in the evening, this is how I imagine it could look.
