Some days the urge to be out in the rain instead of running from it is irresistible. The sky is a light glowing grey; the air is crisp and damp with a light breeze; the smell is a little earthy but fresh. The pull to explore and see where your feet will take you is enticing. This woman has abandoned her shoes as she remembers the feel of puddles or grass or mud between her toes. As the breeze swirls around her she envisions God embracing her and walking with her. She never feels alone, her eyes may not see Him but today she feels his presence. The rain is touching everything, cleaning, pulling the dirt back to the ground. After the rain everything glitters like new again. Its a new day, new possibilities, new chances, and new adventures.
